• Peaceful adults-only site on 17 rural acres, 15 minutes from Doncaster
  • Within an hour of York, the east coast and Peak District National Park
  • Well-stocked fishing lake plus spotless modern amenities

A chilled-out day of fishing, surrounded by 17 acres of woods and grassland for guaranteed peace and quiet while you’re at it: it doesn’t come much better than this… Well… unless you could stretch that serene vibe out by staying there overnight and coming back for a bit more tomorrow. And indeed you can at South Yorkshire site Beech Tree Park, where the pitches are handily placed a mere short saunter from the water’s edge – how’s that for easy access to a day (or preferably a few) of fishing? It’s unlikely that you’ve come here in search of noisy parties and non-stop entertainment, so the family-run site here has been kept accordingly low-key on the facilities front: free wifi, electric hook-ups and a toilet/shower block that’s reserved for overnight guests (with keys given out upon arrival to ensure no incursions by other passers by). Should you require a break from the lakeside action, this handy Hatfield Woodhouse location is well placed for easy comings and goings, with several main roads and motorways in the vicinity. Any requirements for urban amenities can be sorted in Doncaster, 15 minutes’ drive away and your nearest hub for shops, restaurants and the like.

History of Beech Tree Park

Beech Tree has a rich history with many interesting facts and occasions that had an impact on its establishment. But through the whole period of its formation Beech Tree was always liked by visitors.

Beech Tree was turned from farm land into a stables, then the lakes were added & the fish were introduced so people could fish here. Next came the caravan pitches along with the conversions of the stables into our cottages. hot tubs for the cottages & a bar were added next & finally the Lodges were sited on the 3rd lake. New plans are taking shape to add even more types of accommodation to the site!
